Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction
MBSR is an evidence-based program developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. It is now an internationally acclaimed program with a growing body of evidence that supports its benefits for a wide range of conditions.
MBSR is taught in over 750 healthcare settings worldwide and offers a structured pathway to relieve suffering and increase wellbeing for people experiencing a wide range of medical and psychological conditions , as well as the demands and stressors inherent in everyday life.
Participants will explore the relationship between mind and body and recognize how to mobilize their inner psychological resources for self care. The main outcome of the program is to learn skills that offer a different relationship to stress.
